What happened

Summary On March 9, 2026, I saw an advertisement on the Threads application regarding the sale of software. I contacted the seller via WhatsApp at 011-720 ••••. After I made the payment of RM 320.00 via QR code to "RR DIGITAL TECH SDN BHD," the seller began making excuses about additional "file charges" and subsequently stopped responding. I have since realized this is a scam intended to defraud me and potentially others. I have lodged a formal police report regarding this incident and also have been sharing all the info with the Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Komersial, Investigation Officer at IPD KG.BARU, SUBANG, JALAN TUDM.
